Terminator, The

The film, which launched the careers of Arnold Schwarzenegger and James Cameron is one of the best Sci-fi films ever made.

In his definitive role, Schwarzenegger plays a futuristic cyborg who journeys back in time. His mission is simple: he must terminate a woman named Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton). Unbeknownst to Sarah she is to be the mother of the future leader of the resistance
movement in post holocaust America - without whom the human race have no future.

To combat the Terminator the resistance fighters have sent back Kyle Reese (Michael Biehn) to get to Sarah before the Terminator does. After explaining the seriousness of the situation the race is on to get Sarah to a safe place and out of the Terminator’s deadly reach.

The plot is fast moving and relentless with non-stop horrifying action, thrilling cat-and-mouse chases and superb lead performances throughout.
